Chocolate Chip Cookies

Now, I'm not one to let you know,
but someone else should tell it;
how my paunch was allowed to grow
and extend two holes in my belt.

I love biscuits as a snack
and take two in the morning.
Then in the afternoon I'm back
in the cupboard without warning.

Ginger Nuts and Hob Nobs are the best,
while chocolate ones take some beating.
But Chocolate Chip Cookies stand the test;
they're the ones I most love eating.

If you ask me why I'm munching
there is no real reason to tell.
But daily doses of crunching
have made my tummy swell.
